First off, the book starting with a blood oath between Rania and Huda is an extremely fascinating way to lay the groundwork for the novel. I’m already itching to find out when Huda and Rania’s storylines intersect again but this time with Ally in the middle of it all.
Wilkinson does not shy away from the harsh realities of living in Iraq. From a learning perspective, I think that will be the most intriguing part of this book!
