This book caught my attention by the summary, and the sample pulled me in. It's unlike most books I've read, and I love the fact that it focuses on three Iranian women. I like the multiple lead characters, as well as the fact it takes place in another country. This is a historical book that took place during my lifetime, and that fact also piqued my interest. It's an historical angle I've never read in other fiction books.
