When the Apricots Bloom seems to be a book about friendship, trust, and deceit that will tear at my heartstrings and make me feel for the characters involved. My favorite books usually involve historical events told from multiple viewpoints. I can still remember being a kid and listening to the atrocities of Saddam Hussein’s rule on the news, so having that connection to this novel appeals to me.
This is most certainly a book I will look forward to reading come publication day!
