Gina Wilkinson's writing is incredibly beautiful and her descriptions make you feel like you're in Baghdad with Huda. While not an own-voices story of Iraq, I think Wilkinson's time there still helped her to craft a wonderful novel. I am so intrigued by the story so far and captivated by the writing. I can't wait to read more!
