I enjoy reading books that are set in other countries. Sometimes it seems as if they are from another world. Living in the United States and reading these types of novels makes we realize how fortunate we are at times. But, the characters also are very similar. They have family, love, children, needs, etc. Makes me realize how much we also have in common.
