First, this would not be a book I would normally gravitate towards. However, the first look did not disappoint me. I felt it was a very fast read and kept me engaged. Prior to the first look, I had never heard of Michal Oshman nor did I know a lot about the Jewish religion/culture. Oshman comes from a very successful family, but deals with anxiety issues, a lot of which stem from her childhood experiences. Since anxiety is such a major mental health concern in today's society, I find this book relatable to many readers.
