I'm not one to usually read self help books, nor do I actively seek to read self help books, so I really don't know how the beginning of this book compares to other similar to it. However, I do feel like some parts of this book resonated with me. The writing style was also quite engaging, and it didn't seem like a "you shall do this and all your problems will be solved" kind of book so, I liked it.
