In this fantasy, Eleanor is a young girl who is kicked out of her boarding school for a bad behavior that isn’t revealed right away. She comes home to her strange family. Her extended and immediate family live in a giant castle type house on a cliff by the sea. It’s not apparent when or where this takes place. Her family includes people that turn into wolves and also shapeshifters. It’s got a lot of quirkiness!
Unfortunately for me the story didn’t really go anywhere. I read 70% of this book and ultimately just gave up on it. The storyline was boring to me and things weren’t really explained. I just didn’t care. I wanted to like it and was intrigued with the first look but this just fell flat for me. Maybe it’ll be good for others!
