Strange and completely bizarre, What Big Teeth left me feeling as though I had no idea what I just read. In the best way possible of course.
It begins as the main character, Eleanor, returns home for the first time after fleeing her boarding school. But this is no ordinary home. The house is full of her monstrous family, shapeshifters and witches alike.
Eleanor struggles to fit back in with these paranormals, and when her grandmother dies Eleanor is responsible for keeping them all safe.
I wish this had come out near Halloween, it’s perfect to read around that time. I think I might give it a re-read in October to really set the mood.
There isn’t much I can say about this book otherwise it might spoil the story! It’s best to go into this one knowing as little as possible and then knowing even less at the end.
