What an absolutely amazing start to what can only be an amazing book. I was hooked in from the very first line and left needing more after reading the full excerpt. Eleanor returns to her eerie town where her mysterious family lives, bent on confronting them, but she wasn't anticipating something else to rock their family dynamic. This excerpt is the beginning of a beautifully haunting tale that I can't want to finish reading. This is definitely horror at its finest!
