I’m expecting a lot from having only read the excerpt offered. Not only has the concept of the plot–inspired from a children’s tale that has been turned into dark and twisted version–already catch my attention, but the writing also flows very easily giving much description to this mysterious family. Eleanor seems like a character who is not to be completely trusted, hiding secrets of her own, but I cannot help but sympathize and try to understand her point of view. I’m excited to continue reading more!!
