The excerpt was a promising start, and I liked how it throws you right into the action. The first person voice felt immediate, and I liked that a lot seemed to be going on all at once, so it draws you into the story and takes a little while to figure out. A lot of mystery/intrigue is woven right into the beginning and made me keen to read on.
