As soon as I read the first page, I was utterly entranced. I adore gothic novels and was curious to see how a fantasy one would work. The writing is utterly compelling; the author has true talent and I hope to read more from them. I could feel Eleanor’s hesitation, fear, confusion, and indecision. I cannot wait for the release of this one.
