Okay, I've read a lot of YA before and this has to be one of the most original stories I've come across so far! The cover is fascinating - just the right combination of beauty and macabre - and lends itself to the First Impression being similar to a retelling of the Big Bad Wolf's family story. There's something so innocent yet sinister in the main character, Eleanor, as she returns home from boarding school not knowing what to expect while running from what she's already done. Looking forward to reading the rest of this captivating fantasy!
