I love the fact the MC is learning to embrace her family. I don't think I've read a book that gave me Adam Family vibes, but I'm LOVING IT!!!
The normal family's and black sheep family member themes were getting really redundant for me. The uniqueness of the MC's relationship with her relatives and her dark past have me intrigued.
