I really enjoyed reading the First Impression because the story is original and refreshing to me. I haven't read many stories like this one that's dark & mysterious because most young adult fiction are magical, full of hope, and adventure-styled. The plot, characters, and mysterious circumstances in this book have me very intrigued. I want to keep reading to find out what all the mystery and drama is about. Why is everyone so in love with Arthur? What is going to happen now that Ellie has to look after the household? And what is really threatening the Zarrin family that Grandma Persephone was protecting them from? I would really like to find out!
