Atmospheric; creepy and beautiful at the same time
The cover is absolutely incredible and eye catching.
You get a sense that Eleanor is stronger than she knows. Running from a school back to a family that all but gave up on you must have been difficult and now she is back in a place that she remembers, but strangely, like she was always somewhat detached from it. Immediately you fall for this family full of people who are so free and wild and seemingly happy to accept Eleanor back with open arms. But you feel that lurking sense of dread at the same time. Very enticing.
