We Shall Be Monsters has a cover that begs to be read. The premise drew me in, and it sounded like it would be interesting while focusing on pulling things from multiple backgrounds, offering inclusion.
We Shall Be Monsters is a beautiful retelling of Frankenstein. It's gripping, twisty, and oh so monsterific. Like most, I liked the scene where the dog is reincarnated. (Which offers insight into what Kajal wanted for her sister Lasya, at least that is what I gathered from the description as well as my reading.
This book follows Kajal as she suffers the horrific loss of losing her sister Lasya. After being unable to use a spell for reincarnation, everything goes south, which ot where this book really got interesting. I will be routing for Kajal as she trapped and forced to escape and perform a resurrection if only to cause more problems----and more problems there will be.
This book horrific, intriguing, and must read for anyone who loves Frankenstein and reincarnation..
