This book was like a Frankenstein retelling inspired by Indian mythology, the mix between Hindu/Buddhist and the different aspects of Indian religion was beautifully written in this fantasy YA ( very different from the European folklore myth) it's so beautifully haunting with so much sorrow and rage take the form of a girl desperate to save her sister, but end up being dragged into a political coup by bringing back the wrong prince. I did take off 1 star because I felt that the book grew more confusing as it went on due to the unfamiliar terminology and the magic aspect of it was a bit confusing ( I think it needed some kind of definition in the back of the book like a terminology definition or something) but overall it was a beautiful fantasy book and it was beautifully wrapped all together and of course, let us not forget her undead dog friend.
