To be fair, I haven't read a lot of books based in mythological India. I had to google some of the words like Rakshasa and Bhuta to understand what was being referenced, but with that said I did enjoy it. The main character is interesting. I'm waiting to find out if she is some kind of reincarnated deity in a human body considering how the story first starts out. Does she get her sister back? What's up with Kutaa? Does he ever end up eating? I'm really interested to find out more about the world and where this journy takes Kajal.
