I don't think I've read anything like this before

The concept is unique. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. I love the idea behind the story, and the writing style was really good. However, the story just couldn't keep me interested. I found I was a little bored with it. There is a possibility it might pick up as the story continues, but I don't think I'm interested in continuing it even though it does sound really good. I have a feeling it would disappoint me, because this genre usually does.
