This appeals to me because I don't know much about Indian folklore. I love that native terms. The writing instantly pulled me into Kajal's world, and not exactly trust her, but I'm interested in where her story leads. I'm really drawn in because beginning a book with the death of a loved one has me questioning how this can get worse. . . . I'd like to see where this tale goes.
