This was great!
I really, really, enjoyed this book! We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal follows Zafira, a hunter who has to disguise herself as a man, and Nasir, an assassin who is also the sultan's son.
I had heard so many good things about this one, and jumped at the chance to read it. I was not disappointed! First and foremost, the world building is absolutely incredible. From the get-go, Faizal immerses you in a magical setting filled with rich culture and intrigue.
I will admit that it's a little cliché, especially within the romance aspects of the book, but it's nothing unforgivable and didn't take away too much from the overall reading experience.
The author also does a great job with the action scenes. I find these usually have the potential to be boring and draggy, but not in this case.
In summary, this book is great! I recommend it to any fans of YA fantasy!
