This book was really good! I liked it a lot. Our heroine Zafira is super awesome, feisty and a very strong character. Then we have a dangerous, brooding, quiet, broken anti-hero named Nasir who is an assassin and who Zafira calls murderer. This is an enemies to lovers of sort but there is not a lot of romance and the relationship is not yet developed very much in this book but I am sure it will get there in the next one. I really loved the magic system and the world building was incredible. The villain was interesting and I like who it is which you do not know right away. There are some awesome side characters that end up being like side kicks and form a great friendship with our main characters. There are some awesome fights or battles with some very scary creatures that will keep you reading super fast to know what happens. And the ending was surprising for me, I liked the twist and for once I did not saw it coming so that was definitely a plus. Really a great read and I definitely recommend.
