We Hunt the Flames is a story of Zafira who disguised herself as a male and Nasir is essentially her enemy, (soon to be lover), in the story, they both have things they are running away from.
First off, I love how diverse this book is!! It isn't your typical generic storyline and it was such a great experience to be able to read something different. I've seen this book all over tik tok and I was so excited when it arrived at my door. From the first page to the last, I read it all in one go! The author did an amazing job at world building and the clearly spent a lot of time thinking over many aspects in the book thoroughly. AND of course, there is a enemies to lovers romance! Like this isn't some, "you're mean" type of enemies, it's like "i'll kill you" type and WOW WOW WOW! As always my favorite books has the strong female protagonist who I grew to love. This book truly kept me at the edge of my seat!
