I loved this book. The author writes in such a unique voice that I felt like I was reading something totally new. This is so brilliant and really stands out in the YA fantasy genre for me. I admit I already have a copy for myself and purchased the whole for the library. These characters are wonderful. The inner monologues are so vibrant as is the dialogue. I highly recommend that all YA libraries have this available on the shelf and I personally would even contemplate two copies of this one since it really is a beautiful story and deserves to be read. Also the cover is stunning. It is so detailed but not overly detailed as can happen. it has just enough of the setting that I was interested to know more. This author is one to watch and I believe she has a new book coming out this year and I cannot wait to read it and share it with as many people as possible!
