I loved all the details that this novel offers. The map at the very beginning was a great opening to the book; I like the visual element that the map offers and it also really helps with the world building. The first page, and even the first sentence, is really enticing and draws the reader in: "People lived because she killed". As soon as I started reading I wanted to know more and keep reading. The word choice used was thoughtful and effective. I especially loved the character description and world building. The way characters and locations are described really helps the reader get a sense of being in the book's world with the characters. Overall, the novel has a good plot that has twists and turns but is still easy enough to follow along with. I never felt bored reading and would recommend this novel to anyone looking to read a beautifully written story that keeps the reader engaged.
