Have you ever been so excited by a book that you read faster than you can comprehend? That was this book for me. Based on the rich culture of ancient Arabia, this book was emersive in setting as well as character. I love love the Arabic references and nods to middle eastern culture. So many things to say about this book. It transported me into the world and had me feeling all the feels.
Im in love with the relationships between the characters and also the intense reveals. I mean talk about some twists and turns that lead to a satisfying conclusion in book one. I am on a waiting list for the second book, but I might break down and buy it. This story stays with you. Capitalizing on themes of friendship, love, loss, and strength in numbers.
