I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. There are so many elements of this book that I fell in love with from the characters, to the world, to even how the book is presented. First off, this book is set in a stunning world of Arawiya that has so much to offer. There's so much world building done and I think that has to contribute to why I love this first book in the duology. The main character, Zafira, is interesting to read about and her story doesn't make you bored at all. Nasir, one of the other leads is just as compelling of a character.
With so many twists and turns, the book keeps you on the edge of your toes as you find out more about the characters and the world they live in. The mix of fantasy, adventure, and romance is a perfect combination that gets you to keep on reading and the ending of the book has you ready to read the next and final book in the series.
