“We Hunt the Flame” is the amazing story about a young woman’s quest to bring magic back to her home and save her people. Zafira is the huntress and the compass, she has magic in a world where magic was lost.
The writhing in this book is not only elevated, it is exquisite. I found myself completely immersed and lost to the pages of this story.
I also really enjoyed the character growth and development. Seeing Zafira merge who she is as the huntress and herself into one, facing the darkness that calls to her, and accepting that saving her people means they won’t need her anymore was so inspiring.
The romance in this book is so sweet and innocent, It was a slow burn (which is always the best) and something I am excited to see continue to grow in book two.
Altair is my absolute favorite character in the book. His light hearted and flirtatious manner is just so endearing.
