I have reread this book too many times to count. We Hunt the Flame was one of my most anticipated reads of 2020 and it did not let me down in any way. From the characters to its representation of the Arabic world-building, this book will live in my heart. In fact, I have also recently read the second book which allowed for the beautiful duology. I was sad to see its completion however I can fully say and acknowledge that I was happy and satisfied with its ending. Zafira and Nasir are honestly, the most relatable characters in aspect to their relationship. Not only that but even though the story isn't enemies-to-lovers, it very much radiated the same type of energy as those types of books do. Overall, I must once again acknowledge and implore everyone to read it. I hope to see a novella or a continuation to this book from the author (anything at all), because I love this book.
