I loved this book a lot, it was beautifully written and the characters were amazing with twists that were too good and enjoyable. Altair and Nasir were my favorite characters, and their dynamic was amazing throughout the entire thing. The relationship between Zafira and Nasir was also great, and I think they complemented each other really well. All of the other important/main characters were no slouches either and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book which I prepared to go out and buy right away!
My one critique of the book, which really isn't bad, is that I think the beginning was rather slow but that is understandable since the author was creating such an elaborate and vibrant world for the readers, but due to the slowness sometimes it was hard to focus on the story as well as one might want. That stops once the actual adventure starts, so for anyone who hasn't read the book just keep going it will not disappoint.
