The cover is beautiful, gold and blue always compliment each other. You understand the vibe of the book from the get-go. The writing can take a while to get accustomed to, however, the characters have quite some depth and the plot is captivating. Historical Arabian fantasy isn't found often in YA and being written by someone of Arabian descent aids in giving proper representation.
