I read a lot of fantasy, but I couldn't get into this book. The characters did not draw me in, nor did I find the plot interesting. The writing is a bit stiff. I found I didn't care what was going to happen. The book cover is beautiful, so I would definitely have picked this book up in a store to look it over, but the contents didn't match up.
