I love both Zafira and Nasir as main characters. Nasir is supposed to be dangerous and cruel but there’s a side to him he keeps hidden and, I mean, who doesn’t love that!! Zafira is fierce and a force to be reckoned with. She’s strong but there is still a side to her that needs others. The world building is absolutely wonderful and though I can’t wait to see what happens with these characters, it’s the world building that kept me going in the first chapters.
