The mystery and intrigue of a fantasy world built on a less familiar mythology is always fascinating. This book has an ancient Arabian vibe similar to stories of Aladdin or "Race the Sands" by Sarah Beth Durst or "Desert of Souls" by Howard Andrew Jones. The atmosphere created is electrifying and with the juxtaposition of the main characters personalities and realities it will make a wonderful story. The book invokes the mystery and the magic of a desert world but in a setting that is open to the more fantastic themes it embraces.
