A fantastic start to an Arabian inspired fantasy novel!

I loved the opening/introduction to this book.

I really enjoyed the disguise aspect and would be excited to see what happens next. I love how strong and independent Zafira is, and am interested in getting a closer look at her backstory. I also enjoyed the author's writing style. Faizal's writing is lyrical and absolutely entrancing.

I would definitely pick this book back up again! I am excited to start this fascinating journey in Faizal's Arabian inspired world.
