I loved the characters in this book and the aspect of digging into the past. I think everyone has a family secret, so that made it very relatable. Not everyone will try to dig into thit past though and prefer for it to stay buried.
I thought it read at a good pace and kept me interested. The story didn’t seem to drag at all. I liked the author’s writing style. I’m not sure if this is her first book, but I definitely would want to read more Work by her.
If you love the south, family history/secrets and women’s fiction, This is a great book to pick up. Just make sure you have a full afternoon available because you aren’t going to want to put it down. I also think it would make a great book group choice!
