Looking forward to reading this book. Elizabeth, a journalist for the Free Press in Detroit, meets with man and his son who claim she is related to Nora. The man, Mr. Rich, states that he has a box of photos that he needs Elizabeth to take to Nora. They were taken during the 1967 riots by Mr. Rich's uncle, who was Nora's husband. Elizabeth doesn't know who Nora is. Elizabeth is white and Mr. Rich is black. Elizabeth is currently working a series about the riots and things that this will tie is nicely, but she needs to find out who Nora is and get more information.
On the surface, this is a story about in interracial couple in the 1960's. But I suspect it is about so much more.
