I love a good mystery a riveting thriller, or just a well written historical fiction novel. We Hope for Better Things sounds like a perfect book when the mood strikes for the historical fiction novel with a few surprises as well. It's a book that I'm sure will leave me missing the characters and will have me suggesting it to all my reader friends. The cover is beautiful and the long road beckons the reader to "come inside, stay for awhile.....see what secrets are kept here".
