Elizabeth Balsam, a journalist, is invited to lunch by the Riches, when they are trying to track down information to a woman they believe is her aunt. Not only does Elizabeth not apparently know that the woman they're trying to get in touch with is her great aunt, she only seems to care when there's an opportunity for her assistance to help her professionally. Based on some of the other advance reviews I assume Elizabeth becomes a more likeable character, but she's pretty self absorbed in the preview of this book. The writing is good, but the lead character doesn't start off too appealing.
