I wasn’t impressed by the writing style of We Hope For Better Things. The author “tells” too much, preventing the reader from forming their own opinion. Additionally, the main character isn’t very likable.I would definitely like to read more. The premise sounds interesting, and the comparison to To Kill a Mockingbird is very enticing as that is one of my favorite books.
