Intriguing Mystery for Both Reader and Main Character

As the main character is intrigued by the mystery of never before seen photographs of the 1967 Detroit Riots, so is the reader. As a sort of cut-throat, reporter character, it's clear that Elizabeth Balsam will dig deep into her family history to uncover the mystery of the photographs that the audience so clearly wants an answer to. I'm excited to see what history her family has hidden away, and how it will tie into the story she is currently writing.
