This book starts out in a diner in Detroit and nibbles at the history of a potential family member of the journalist that she had never knew existed. There are photos from the past that need to be returned to a Nora that was in an interracial marriage during the race riots in that area. I am immediately hooked and want to know what is in the photos and how these are related to the journalist.
