I am very intrigued...What is Nora's story?

This book pulls you from the very first paragraph. I am very interesting in learning Nora's story as well as Liz's, in that she is not quite as connected to her family as she feels she should be and it seems she has been left the dark about a lot. I have not read a lot of about the riots in the 60's, so it would be interesting to read about that as well as an inter-racial marriage during that time. I feel that would have had to have been a pretty big stirring for that time for both sides of the family, and potentially they would have lived in fear and would have dealt with a lot of backlash because of it.
