I have read a lot of books that are like this: thematic collections of women's history profiles. I have read books that are specifically like this: women of color, specifically African Americans. The layout/graphics/illustrations and colors are very nice, very modern. I think the collection of profiles reflect a decent variety of fields/subjects, but it definitely leans a certain way. Not really anything standing out on this one that sets it apart from others of similar content, but the layout & the title suggest it may be decent eye-catching / marketable book.
