This book was beautifully written. The author did a wonderful job writing a story that was so easy and yet captivating to read. Every single character that we meet is flawed and dynamic and interesting to learn about. They each grow throughout the story and I found it easy to relate to the problems and feelings presented in this book.
I love that this book has so much going on and yet it didn’t feel confusing or unnecessary. From begging to end the story was well thought out, well paced, and excellently executed.
I finished this book faster than I finish most books simply because I was so drawn in to the story from the very beginning. From the title I was originally concerned it was going to come across as preachy or lecture style about some event that “deserved a monument” but the message in reality is so beautifully integrated without hitting you across the face with it.
