This book is 100% a must read. Even though it is classed as a YA book the topics in this novel cover some very difficult and important issues. It had toxic family dynamics, racial inequality and violence. It was hard to read but I am very happy that I had the chance too, especially as an early copy (though this review is coming much too late, sorry!)
There was some brightness in this book as well. The relationship between our two Main Characters was very beautiful to witness. To see our Main Characters open up to each other and find happiness was very beautiful.
Overall I really enjoyed this book. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to think long and hard about this world. And to anyone who enjoys a sweet romance.
