This sounds like a very interesting read about the past issues between the black/white culture, accompanied by the plot of a deep family secret. I'm interested and Intrigued to see how the issues all play out. It will be interesting to see Avery come into her self as this also seems to be a coming of age and self discovery story. Many things at play here.
