The beautiful cover of this book drew me in, but the writing and characters have me super invested in finding out what happens in this story. It seems like this first look set up a few different mysteries and I'm intrigued by all of them. I enjoyed the second chapter with Carole's perspective and I hope there are more like this throughout the book. I think this will be such an interesting story with lots of intersecting themes.
